We encourage that you have CrossFit experience or a baseline fitness level to attend. If you don't, but are wanting to experience the community and workout-- fill out the form to connect with one of our expert coaches to set you up!

Memorial Day "Murph" DETAILS

Memorial day "Murph" workout is open to any member & non-member of CrossFit Achieve looking to join the annual HERO WOD!

Participants should complete the waiver and liability form, which will be emailed to you before the event.

Murph is a CrossFit Hero workout that stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael Murphy, who died heroically in the line of duty in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005.

Murph was introduced as a CrossFit Hero workout on Aug. 18, 2005, and has become a long-standing tradition observed by CrossFit and a broader global community of athletes. Thousands of CrossFit gyms program Murph each year on Memorial Day as a way to honor Lt. Murphy and all others who have served.

How the day will flow/ expectations:

HEAT 1 OUTLINE:

  • Check in with a coach if new to the community by 6:00am

  • Warm up on your own from 6:00am-6:20am. We will have a sample warm up on a whiteboard

  • Welcoming / Workout overview/standards & National Anthem

  • Workout kick off by 6:30am with a 90:00 time cap

    HEAT 2 OUTLINE:

  • Check in with a coach if you are new to the community by 8:00am

  • Warm up on your own from 8:00am-8:20am. We will have a sample warm up on a whiteboard.

  • Welcoming / workout overview and standards.

  • Workout kick off by 8:30am with a 90:00 time cap

Brunch to follow!!!!

  • Hangout after your workout for Brunch 8:30 am-11:00 am
